Foxes snare Newton

Leicester have signed Shaun Newton from West Ham.

Newton spent a spell on loan at Leicester at the back end of last season and he impressed during his time at the Walkers Stadium.

The winger has signed a one-year deal with The Foxes and he is Martin Allen's tenth new signing of the summer.

Allen believes Newton will be a valuable addition to the squad.

"I think he will do a good job for us," Allen told the club's official website.

"I watched a video of his game against Birmingham last season and I think, in no uncertain terms, that is what I want on a regular basis."
