Christian Wilhelmsson's agent has dismissed reports that the winger is close to joining Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur.The Sweden international is set to move on in the summer after Nantes were relegated from the top flight in France.
Wilhelmsson, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Roma, admits he is looking to fix up a new club over the summer.
Speculation has claimed that City and Spurs are both lining up bids for the former Anderlecht ace.
But Wilhelmsson's agent Fabio Alho says the reports are wide of the mark, telling Sportbladet: "It's not correct."
Alho refused to comment on suggestions that Middlesbrough could offer the attacker an escape route from Nantes.
