Sevilla land Ajax winger

Sevilla have completed the signing of Tom de Mul from Ajax.

The 21-year-old Belgian, who scored seven goals in 63 appearances for Ajax, recently stated his desire to join Sevilla.

The Uefa Cup winners have been on the lookout for a winger for some time and Ajax have agreed for the move to go ahead as de Mul only had one year left on his contract.

Sevilla have tied de Mul to a five-year contract, but the transfer fee and details of his contract have not been disclosed.

Morgan De Sanctis has also joined Sevilla after terminating his contract with Italian side Udinese.

De Sanctis is expected to be second-choice goalkeeper to Andres Palop following the exit of David Cobeno.
