SpVgg Greuther Furth have confirmed that they have completed the signing of striker Tobias Mikkelsen from FC Nordsjaelland.
The 25-year-old has joined the club on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee after featuring in Denmark's Euro 2012 squad.
Furth chairman, Helmut Hack told the club's
official website: "We are delighted to have completed this deal.
"We have been working on the transfer of Tobias Mikkelsen for four weeks now.
Interest
"The transfer had been a difficult deal as FC Nordsjaelland are playing in the UEFA Champions League this term and were keen on keeping the player at the club.
"Furthermore, there has also been interest from other clubs in the services of the player."
Mikkelsen scored 15 goals in 101 outings for Nordsjaelland and has made six appearances for the Denmark national team.
