Lee Cook is relishing the challenge ahead after completing a move to Fulham.

The winger joined The Cottagers from Queens Park Rangers on Thursday for an initial fee of £2.5million.

He has signed a four-year deal and is thrilled to have the opportunity to help take Fulham to the next level over the coming seasons.

"I move across West London to a team which is becoming a real force and is really looking to push on," Cook told QPR's official website.

"The chairman is really supporting the manager to make Fulham one of the top Premier League clubs and to be asked to be part of that means everything to me as a footballer.

"I'm really looking forward to working with Lawrie Sanchez and I can't wait to get started and test myself against the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool."

Cook is adamant he will still follow QPR's fortunes in the Championship closely, and is sad to leave the club he has supported since childhood.

"It has been an absolute honour to play in front of everyone at Loftus Road," he said.

"I would also like to thank the management staff and especially John Gregory.

"I will be coming to Loftus Road many times to give my support to the team."
