Brentford manager Terry Butcher has involved seven trialists in his last two friendlies in an attempt to improve his current squad.
The Bees boss handed a debut to defender Grant Basey in Tuesday evening's 1-0 loss against Hampton & Richmond.
Basey is on a one month loan from Charlton and Butcher gave the 18-year-old the full 90 minutes.
Trialists Lee Canoville, Ricky Shakes, Gary Smith and Ramon Calliste all featured in the match at Griffin Park.
