Bradford City have signed Barnsley's Thomas Harban on a six-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old defender has agreed to the move, which will see him stay at Valley Parade until January 1st 2008.
Bantams boss Stuart McCall is looking to build a side capable of an immediate return to League One, following the club's relegation last season.
Bradford conceded 65 goals last season and McCall is aware that his defence needs to be strengthened and has therefore added Harban to his squad after he impressed while on trial during the Bantams' pre-season training.
Harban, who has yet to make a first-team appearance for Barnsley, spent part of last season on loan at Tamworth.
