Marcus Haber has signed a two-year extension to his contract at Dundee.

The 28-year-old Canada international initially signed for the club on a one-year deal in October after impressing on trial.

The striker has scored three goals in 11 appearances and, announcing the deal, Dundee said he has "had a hand in many more".

Haber first moved to the UK with West Brom in 2010, signing from the Vancouver Whitecaps, but he never made a senior appearance for the Baggies.

Haber spent time out on loan at Exeter City and St Johnstone, as well as a temporary return to Vancouver, before a permanent switch to St Johnstone in 2011.

He spent two years at Stevenage and then Crewe. Haber has scored 34 goals in over 200 senior appearances in his career.
