Skysports.com understands that Fulham have lodged a bid for Watford's Hameur Bouazza. The Algerian international is looking to make the step back up to the Premier League, following Watford's relegation last summer. The 22-year-old is being trailed by a number of clubs, but Fulham are looking to win the race to land him and have made their move. Portsmouth, West Ham and Derby are amongst the other suitors and could mount rival bids in the coming days. Watford are standing firm over their valuation of Bouazza and insist they will not let him leave cheaply, but Fulham will hope their bid - believed to be £3million - will be enough to secure a deal.
