Lincoln City have handed a one-year contract to trialist Gary Croft.
Lincoln City have handed a one-year contract to trialist Gary Croft.The experienced full-back has put pen-to-paper on the 12-month deal at Sincil Bank after linking up with John Schofield's side recently.
Croft, 33, was one of four players told they would be released by Grimsby at the end of last season.
The former England Under 21 international was offered a trial by Lincoln and impressed sufficiently to be rewarded with a contract.
Croft, who began his career with Grimsby as a trainee, has previously had spells at Cardiff, Wigan, Ipswich and Blackburn.
