Bantams bring in duo

Bradford have snapped up defender Darren Williams and midfielder Kyle Nix.

Bradford manager Stuart McCall has continued to strengthen for the start of the League Two season by signing Darren Williams and Kyle Nix.

Williams (pictured) was offered a contract on Monday after impressing on trial.

And the defender, who was released by Hartlepool at the end of the last season, has now accepted terms on a three-year deal at Valley Parade.

Former Sheffield United midfielder Nix has signed on a month-to-month basis after also catching the eye on trial.

Nathan Joynes and Thomas Harban have already joined Bradford on six-month loan deals from Barnsley this week, while Scott Phelan has also agreed a one-year contract.
