Emile Mpenza is expected to announce his retirement from international football in the next few days.

According to La Derniere Heure, the Belgium striker will quit the national team at a press conference in Manchester this week.

The 29-year-old has been capped 52 times by Belgium, scoring 17 goals, and played at the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000.
