Alessandro Nesta has confirmed his retirement from international football. The 31-year-old World Cup winner has followed Francesco Totti in confirming his decision to quit the national team. "I will never join the national team again," he said at a press conference. "To play in the blue shirt is one of the most beautiful things in my life. "But my adventure with the Azzurri finishes here."
