Coppell slams Seol exit talk

Reading manager Steve Coppell has blasted suggestions that Seol Ki-hyeon is set to leave the club.

No bid from Fulham winger

Reading manager Steve Coppell has blasted suggestions that Seol Ki-hyeon is set to leave the club, and says that the rumours are being drawn on "the basis of zero fact". Speculation has tipped Fulham for a move for the South Korean international, but Coppell is adamant that the winger will not be leaving The Madejski Stadium. Rumours circling the 28-year-old refuse to go away, and Coppell has once again been drawn in to comment on the suggestions. "For this to be anything other than rumour, two things have got to happen," Coppell told the club's official website. "First, Seol has got to say to me that he wants to go, which he hasn't done. "Secondly, Fulham have got to phone me up and say 'we want to buy him', which they haven't done. "So, on the basis of zero fact, then this is just fish and chip paper." Seol moved to Reading in 2006, in a £1.5million switch from Championship side Wolves, and has previously been quoted as saying that he would be 'happy to play for Fulham'.
