Hatters bag McVeigh

Luton have completed the signing of Paul McVeigh on a two-year deal.

Striker pens two-year-deal at Kenilworth Road

Luton have continued a busy period of summer spending with the acquisition of former Norwich City striker Paul McVeigh on a free transfer. McVeigh had been training with Plymouth, but the Championship admitted that the forward had opted to pursue interest from elsewhere. The Hatters have therefore moved quickly to secure McVeigh's signature, after the former Tottenham trainee put pen-to-paper on a two-year-deal. McVeigh signed for Norwich in 2000 and has Premier League experience following The Canaries' promotion to the top flight in 2004. He becomes the ninth addition to manager Kevin Blackwell's squad in a busy pre-season for the League One side.
