Macclesfield Town have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Gareth Evans on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old, who has spent two years in Crewe's highly respected academy, signs for The Silkmen on non-contract terms.
The striker had been on trial with the League Two side over the past week, and has clearly done enough to impress manager Ian Brightwell.
Evans travelled with his new team-mates to Bradford City for their first game of the season, and came off the bench in the 77th minute for his debut in the 1-1 draw.
