Trezeguet returns for France

David Trezeguet has been recalled to the France squad ahead of next week's matches against Slovakia and Slovakia A.

Juve striker included in 34-man squad

David Trezeguet has been recalled to the France squad ahead of next week's matches against Slovakia and Slovakia A. Raymond Domenech has named a 34-man squad for the two games, which will take place on consecutive days. Trezeguet was not part of Domenech's plans last season as he plied his trade with Juventus in Serie B. However, now that Juve are back in the Italian top flight, Trezeguet has been given the chance to resurrect his international career. Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira, who have not played for Les Bleus since 7th February, have also been named in the squad after recovering from injuries. Paris Saint Germain midfielder Jerome Rothen and Juventus centre-back Jean-Alain Boumsong also return.
