The talented striker was at the centre of much of Wolves' best work and was rewarded in the 14th minute when he gave Mick McCarthy's travellers the lead.
In-form Wade Small restored parity on the stroke of half-time, but after the break, Wolves regained the lead when Michael Kightly converted after being sent through by Eastwood's astute pass.
The points were secured when Wolves substitute Jay Bothroyd showed his club's strength in depth with a third in the final minute.
Franny Jeffers, on his home debut for the Owls following a £700,000 switch from Blackburn, endured a nightmare as he had to be replaced injured after just 20 minutes.

Wednesday levelled when Small converted from close range after a scramble in the box just before half-time.
Wolves, though, were full value for the win and when after Kightly netted with a concise finish, Bothroyd ended any hopes of a Wednesday comeback, courtesy of a tidy tucked finish.
