Wolves will be without Connor Ronan against Birmingham - and perhaps for the rest of the season - after the midfielder suffered a stress fracture in his back.

Wanderers boss Paul Lambert revealed the news at his pre-match press conference, where he said the teenager will be out for "a good few months" with the injury and would be lucky to feature again at all this campaign.

It is hoped Nouha Dicko will return from his hamstring problem in time for Friday night's local derby - live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 7pm - while fellow striker Joe Mason (hernia) and defender Mike Williamson are also close to making their comebacks from injury.

Donovan Wilson, 19, will hope to keep his place in the squad after making his debut as a late substitute against Chelsea in the FA Cup last weekend.
