Inter Milan 1-0 Lyon: Manchester United target Ivan Perisic features off the bench

Stevan Jovetic scored the winner as Inter Milan beat Lyon 1-0 in the International Champions Cup on Monday.

The Serie A giants took control in the second half in China following the introduction of substitutes Geoffrey Kondogbia, Stevan Jovetic, Gabriel Barbosa and Ivan Perisic.

Perisic, a target for Manchester United, looked lively when he came off the bench while Barbosa was involved in the build-up for Jovetic's goal.

He played in Joao Mario, who teed up the former Manchester City striker to put Inter ahead after 74 minutes.

Bertrand Traore, signed from Chelsea to replace the departed Alexandre Lacazette, featured for Lyon, who struggled to create much against their Italian opponents.

Kondogbia fired wide from Perisic's cross before Lyon goalkeeper Mathieu Gorgelin denied Barbosa as Inter pressed forward in the second half.
