Rob Jones insists he is happy to stay at Hibernian after the club rejected a bid from Leeds United.
The defender's agent claimed earlier in the week that Jones was unhappy that he was being denied a return to English football.
Leeds boss Dennis Wise has confirmed his initial offer was turned down by Hibs and he is considering a revised bid.
But the Easter Road captain has come out to pledge his commitment to Hibs and has stressed he is not looking to engineer a move away from Edinburgh.

"It's old news," said Jones at a press conference. "There's been speculation in the papers for a while now about my future and the last time I spoke to the media I committed my future to the club and that hasn't changed.
"At no instance have I indicated to the manager or the chairman that I want to leave this football club, not once.
"I know that was printed this week, but that's not the truth. I didn't know my agent was going to speak this week.
"The first I knew about it was walking down Princes Street and it was on a billboard. I've come out to put the record straight.
"I'm very happy here. I'm very proud to be the captain of this football club and for as long as I'm here I'll give everything I've got. That will not change."
