Koller staying with Monaco

Jan Koller has ruled out a move to the Premier League after announcing he is to stay with Monaco.

Sanchez misses out on Czech striker

Fulham's hopes of landing Monaco striker Jan Koller have been dashed after the striker revealed he is to stay with the Ligue 1 outfit. The Cottagers are one of a number of Premier League sides to have been linked with the giant Czech international this summer. Lawrie Sanchez has been looking for another striker to play alongside David Healy and has shown interest in Watford foward Darius Henderson and Derby's Steve Howard. The former Northern Ireland boss was reported to have been in touch with Monaco to discuss a fee for Koller. But the powerful frontman, who came close to joining the Cottagers six years ago, said: "I have decided to stay at Monaco."
