Watford have signed Argentinian youngster Santiago Aloi on loan from River Plate. The 20-year-old midfielder joins The Hornets on a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent move next summer. Adrian Boothroyd has been keeping tabs on Aloi since he was spotted by Watford's scouts in May. Aloi is seen as one for the future by Boothroyd and is unlikely to feature in the first-team much this season.
