Bednar makes move to Baggies
Hearts striker Roman Bednar has joined West Bromwich Albion on loan until the end of the season.
The Czech international has scored 14 goals in 15 appearances for Hearts since his move to the Scottish Premier League in 2005.
Assistant coach Stephen Frail told the official Hearts website: "I hope Roman will gain valuable first team experience at West Brom. We wish him well for the season ahead."
There has been plenty of transfer activity at Tynecastle on deadline day with Matthew Docherty joining David and John Armstrong at Cowdenbeath.
Denis McLaughlin has also moved on, signing a six-month loan deal with Spanish third division side Gimnastica Torrelavega.
