Keeper's loan deal extended

Graham Stack has had his loan agreement at Wolves extended for a further four months. Wolves boss Mick McCarthy originally snapped up the 25-year-old Reading keeper on a one-month loan after injuries sidelined Matt Murray and Carl Ikeme. But Stack has settled in well at the Midlands club and both sides were happy to extend his stay until the January transfer window.

Fantastic

"I've had a fantastic time since I came here to Wolves," Stack told the club's official website. "They are a cracking bunch of lads and I seriously think there is great potential for this squad to go all the way. "I've been promoted with Reading before and I know exactly what it takes from the short space of time I've been here, I feel Wolves have the hunger and the quality to get up there. "I'd like to play my part in helping them to do so and I am delighted to be staying on."

Terminated

Meanwhile, Tomasz Frankowski has had his contract at Molineux terminated by mutual consent. The 33-year-old former Polish international striker failed to score a goal in his 17 appearances for the club. Glenn Hoddle bought Frankowski in January 2006 for £1.4million from Spanish side Elche, but he struggled to make an impression with the Championship club. Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey told the club's official website: "This was an unsuccessful transfer for both the club and player. "Tomasz has told me how frustrating it has been that he hasn't been able to show the fans what he believed he was capable of. "It was felt best for all concerned that we cancelled the contract and we wish him well for the future."
