Defender admits draw will not do
Republic of Ireland defender Richard Dunne is targeting three points from the trip to Czech Republic.
Ireland were held to a 2-2 draw in Slovakia at the weekend to leave them three points behind Czech Republic in Euro 2008 qualifying Group D.
Dunne admits Wednesday's match in Prague has now taken on added importance, but he is confident of victory.
"This was always the game where we had to go and get at least a draw, but now we really need to go and win it," the Manchester City man told
Sky Sports News.
"It just makes everything clearer that we know what the job is on Wednesday."
Ireland drew 1-1 with Czech Republic last October but Dunne was encouraged by the team's display.
Great performance needed
He added: "Czech Republic are regarded as one of the strongest teams in Europe but this is a game we feel we can win because we maybe should have beaten them in Dublin.
"We gave a great performance that night and it will take the same again and more to get a great result on Wednesday."
Ireland were only denied a win against Slovakia by Marek Cech's last-gasp equaliser, and Dunne insists they would not surrender a similar lead again.
"It will be in the back of our heads if we are in front towards the end, but it's something that when it happens it gives you that little kick to make sure it doesn't happen again," he explained.
