Annerson joins Rotherham on loan
Rotherham have brought in Jamie Annerson to cover for injured goalkeeper Steven Cann.
Annerson has not made a first-team appearance for Sheffield United this term and Millers boss Mark Robins has moved quickly to sign him on loan.
Cann is facing a spell on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder in training on Monday.
He has since been to visit a specialist, and it is likely he will require an operation.
"Jamie is helping us out for a few weeks," said a club spokesman.
"Steven went to see a specialist yesterday and may need an operation. He could be out for some time."
England Under 19 keeper Annerson made his Rotherham bow against Sheffield United in a 4-2 reserve defeat on Tuesday night.
