Lions take striker on month-long deal

Watford striker Will Hoskins has completed a move to Millwall on loan. Hoskins scored 25 goals in 39 starts for Rotherham before he switched to Vicarage Road in January, and Millwall manager Willie Donachie is confident he will thrive in League One over the next month. "He's like a young Kenny Dalglish - he works off another striker but can create things for himself as well," Donachie told the club's official website. "Will played against us last season and scored two so we know about him. "He's a very bright, intelligent player. He's young with a lot to learn but he could go on to become a very good player."

Loach loan

Another Watford player to leave the club on loan is goalkeeper Scott Loach, who has joined Blue Square Premier side Stafford on a one-month deal. The 19-year-old has never featured for the Hornets first-team and will be keen to get a number of games under his belt. Young midfielder John-Joe O'Toole, meanwhile, has signed a one-year professional deal with Watford. "He has got the raw talent to progress to be a big star," said manager Adrian Boothroyd.
