Grayson lands talented Canadian starlet

Skysports.com can confirm Canadian Under 20 international Michael D'Agostino has signed for Championship side Blackpool on a one-year deal, with an option of a second year. Following a successful Under 20 World Cup in Canada the lightning fast right winger has joined the Seasiders, after impressing in training and reserve games in the past month. The 20-year-old, who can play for Italy or Canada, has caught the eye of a number of English and Italian teams but has decided to sign for the Championship side after he was impressed with current manager Simon Grayson, the players and the club as a whole. The winger said, "It's taken a while to get the paper work through, but now it's official I'll be looking to continue to impress in training and reserve games and hopefully push myself into the first team reckoning real soon. "Blackpool is a great club, the lads are top and the coaching staff have been nothing but supportive since I arrived for trials." Blackpool are likely to include D'Agostino in their reserve game next week against Rochdale at Fleetwood Town, as he looks to impress and push for a place in Grayson's first team squad.
