Ruud Gullit has backed fellow countryman Louis van Gaal to be a success at Manchester United.
After a recent run of three straight 0-0 draws Van Gaal's United have been the target of criticism for their style of play but back-to-back victories over CSKA Moscow and West Brom have eased the pressure.
And Gullit, speaking on Goals on Sunday, jumped to the defence of Van Gaal, claiming the Dutchman is slowly getting things right at Old Trafford.
"I think it will happen for Van Gaal," Gullit said. "He's getting it right.
"Slowly he's getting it right. It's not easy because you have big teams who can spend a lot of money on players like Manchester City and Chelsea also did that.
"There's a lot of competition in the Premier League nowadays. Arsenal are also getting closer so there are a lot of clubs that can win it."
