Goalkeeper agrees 12-month County deal
Tim Sandercombe has signed a one-year contract extension with Notts County.
The highly-rated goalkeeper initially signed a 12-month deal at Meadow Lane after joining on a free transfer from Plymouth in May.
However, Sandercombe has impressed County manager Steve Thompson and has now put pen-to-paper on an additional 12 months.
Thompson has admitted his delight at securing the services of the 18-year-old shot-stopper.
"Word soon gets around in football when a young player shows good potential," Thompson told County's official website.
"We felt if we didn't do something to tie him down, we ran the risk of someone sneaking him away from us. I'm delighted that Tim has agreed the deal.
"He still has it all to do but if he maintains his appetite for hard work and continues to learn from (goalkeeping coach) Steve Cherry and (senior goalkeeper) Kevin Pilkington, I believe he can develop into a top goalkeeper."
