Notts County have re-signed Hull City defender Michael Byron on loan until the end of the season.
Byron spent a spell on loan at County towards the end of last season and the club were ready to make the move permanent before a knee injury stopped the deal.
The 20-year-old returned to Hull over the summer for rehabilitation but County have given him another chance to impress with the new loan spell.
"It has been a difficult few months for Michael," Notts County boss Steve Thompson said on their official website.
"But we rate him very highly and want to give him every opportunity to get his career back on the rails.
"The deal takes him until the end of the season but if Michael can get himself fit and back to where he was, he knows we will be happy to extend it."
