Orient aim to maintain 100 per cent away record at Gills

League leaders Leyton Orient look to maintain their impeccable record away from home as they travel to managerless Gillingham. Martin Ling's side are League One's surprise pace-setters thus far this term, but Tranmere will be looking to edge closer to the summit as they host Crewe at Prenton Park. Southend are on a fine run of late after initially struggling to acclimatise to the drop and they make the trip to Bristol Rovers, who have yet to record a home league win this season. Greg Abbott continues to impress in a caretaker capacity at Carlisle and he takes his side to fellow play-off hopefuls Hartlepool. Leeds dropped their first points of the season at Gillingham on Saturday but they will be looking to get back on course at Boundary Park, where an Oldham side who have recorded back-to-back victories await.
Bournemouth v Brighton
Cherries chief Kevin Bond is in the midst of an injury crisis, with assistant manager Rob Newman a substitute at the weekend - despite being in his 43rd year. Bond has just 13 fit outfield players and his woes have been compounded by the news Neil Young will need a fitness test. One small chink of light is the return of Neil Moss in goal. Brighton's David Martot requires a fitness test after missing Saturday's game against Swansea with a back problem. Jake Robinson comes back into contention after not figuring at the weekend following a spat with his manager Dean Wilkins.
Bristol Rovers v Southend
Exasperated Rovers boss Paul Trollope has promised to ring the changes as he chases a first home league win of the season. Joe Jacobson, Craig Hinton, David Pipe and Andy Williams could all come in - with Ryan Green or Chris Carruthers the most likely to be axed. In-form Southend are unlikely to make too many changes, with recalled duo Mark Gower and Eric Odhiambo to retain their places following victory over Port Vale at the weekend.
Doncaster v Walsall
Jason Price and James Coppinger are candidates to return to Doncaster's squad following injury, while Sean McDaid, Steve Roberts and Paul Green are in contention to start after coming off the bench to impress at the weekend. Walsall manager Richard Money is likely to name an unchanged team following Saturday's 1-0 victory over Hartlepool, with Ian Roper their most noticeable absentee with a viral infection.
Gillingham v Leyton Orient
Mark Bentley is Gillingham's major concern after missing Saturday's draw with Leeds due to an ankle injury. Aaron Brown is available to caretaker management duo Iffy Onoura and Mick Doherty after injury, but Duncan Jupp is sidelined with a groin complaint. Orient boss Martin Ling could name the same side which beat Bristol Rovers at the weekend. Jabo Ibehre made his first appearance of the season on Saturday, off the bench, but he is unlikely to dislodge either Adam Boyd or Wayne Gray to start.
Hartlepool v Carlisle
Hartlepool hand new loan signing Danny Coles a debut following his switch from Hull and he could be joined in Danny Wilson's starting XI by Ian Moore, who is ready to return after missing out at the weekend following his involvement in a minor car accident on Friday. Carlisle caretaker boss Greg Abbott continues to impress and he is unlikely to change his side following Saturday's 3-1 win at Bournemouth. Jeff Smith could come in for Simon Hackney but other than that, Abbott will be loath to interrupt a winning formula.
Huddersfield v Nottm Forest
Loan signings Richard Keogh and Ronnie Wallwork retain their places in Andy Ritchie's side, while Michael Collins and David Mirfin are both now available after recovering from a virus and back complaint respectively. Danny Schofield remains sidelined with an ankle injury. In-form Forest look to have finally got their act together and manager Colin Calderwood has no fresh injuries or suspensions to contend with. The Scottish tactician will almost certainly name the same side that beat Yeovil 3-0 on Saturday.
Millwall v Northampton
Willie Donachie is confident Alan Dunne and Gary Alexander will be fit, but Danny Spiller, Zak Whitbread and Neil Harris are still all out for struggling Millwall. Northampton utility man Andy Holt is a concern after having to come off at the weekend against Tranmere due to problems with his hamstring. Manager Stuart Gray again has to do without injured trio Danny Jackman, Giles Coke and Daniel Jones.
Oldham v Leeds
Oldham could promote Saturday's matchwinner Neil Kilkenny from their list of substitutes, but fellow goalscoring bench-warmer Matty Wolfenden is unlikely to start. Lee Hughes will be hoping for a recall after being left out altogether, but John Sheridan is definitely without injured quartet Stefan Stam, Deane Smalley, Lewis Alessandra and Les Pogliacomi. Leeds are without suspended in-form strike duo Jermaine Beckford and Tresor Kandol but are able to call on a pair of quality replacements, courtesy of loan acquisitions Mark De Vries and former Oldham favourite Wayne Andrews. Alan Thompson is pushing for a start following a groin strain.
Port Vale v Cheltenham
Vale caretaker boss Dean Glover will be desperate for his players do his chances of landing the position permanently a favour, and he has a healthy squad to choose from. Ashley Westwood is suspended, but otherwise there are no fresh concerns for the rookie chief. Cheltenham's John Ward must wait on news of the fitness of John Finnigan and Damien Spencer after the influential pair suffered knee injuries at the weekend. Steven Gillespie missed the Doncaster defeat and he remains a concern with a hip injury.
Swansea v Swindon
Swansea continue to be without striker Darryl Duffy with a groin strain, with Warren Feeney to continue in his place alongside the in-form Jason Scotland. Summer signing Andrea Orlandi will likely keep his place following a bright debut, but Leon Britton and Andy Robinson are still absentees through injury. Swindon striker Billy Paynter should be fit to figure despite limping off at the weekend, but Blair Sturrock and Kaid Mohamed stand-by to deputise.
Tranmere v Crewe
Tranmere's promising starlet Steve Davies is facing an anxious wait for scans on what could be a serious knee injury, while Ronnie Moore continues to be without his goalkeeper Danny Coyne due to a calf complaint. Striker Calvin Zola is rated at no better than 50-50 to feature. Crewe will hand late fitness tests to Danny Woodards (dead leg) and Chris McCready (hamstring) ahead of the Prenton Park clash. The versatile George Abbey is on standby to deputise should either fail to make it.
Yeovil v Luton
Yeovil captain Terry Skiverton is a doubt after being replaced at the weekend against Nottingham Forest due to a groin problem. Ritchie Jones stands-by to deputise, in a reshuffle that would see Terrell Forbes play as a centre-half. Marc Bircham is still not available as he continues his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury. Luton's attacking prowess is curbed somewhat by the suspension of Paul Furlong, with Drew Talbot the man most likely to be given the nod to come in. Kevin Blackwell has no fresh concerns but is already without Don Hutchison, Paul Peschisolido, Keith Keane and Paul Underwood.
