Aberdeen have been left with one fit senior goalkeeper
Aberdeen have suffered an injury blow ahead of their Uefa Cup second leg clash against Dnipro.
Goalkeeper Derek Soutar limped off in the reserves' game against Rangers on Monday, leaving Jimmy Calderwood with just one fit senior stopper.
The former Dundee man suffered a toe injury during the game and Calderwood has confirmed that he will not travel with the squad to Ukraine.
Change of plan
Jamie Langfield will continue to start in goal for Aberdeen, with 20-year-old Greg Kelly earning a place on the bench.
"It's a blow to lose Derek but we don't know how long he will be out for yet," Calderwood told The Press and Journal.
"I'm hoping it is not too bad and we'll have him back after the international break.
"We were planning on taking three goalkeepers to the Ukraine but we will take two now. Greg Kelly will be on the bench against Dnipro."
