United midfielder moves to Molineux
Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson has joined Wolves on loan.
The 19-year-old Republic of Ireland international has agreed to move to Molineux until January in a bid to secure first-team football.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy believes Gibson will prove a valuable addition to his squad as he plans for a promotion push.
"Darron is a talented midfielder that will bring us real competition for places in central midfield," McCarthy told Wolves' official website.
"He is only 19 but he is a good player and has a good range of passing."
Gibson made his United debut in 2005 in the Carling Cup win over Barnet, but has failed to secure any further first-team football.
