Alessandro Nesta has confirmed that he will be finishing his career with Milan.

Alessandro Nesta has confirmed that he will be finishing his career with Milan. The former Lazio star has been with Milan for five years and he admits he will finish his playing career with them before retiring back to his native Rome. "I will end my career here, then I will go back home," he told Sky Italia.

Nesta, who has won almost every accolade in the game, wants to secure a World Club title - which we be played in Japan later this year. "I want to win the World Club cup, we must take that trophy home," he emphasised. Nesta insisted he has no regrets about quitting the Italian national team. "I had a choice, I just arrived at a point where I had to think about my career," he explained.
