European giants track Chelsea man

Didier Drogba's agent has admitted that a number of top clubs are pursuing the Ivorian star. The Chelsea striker has been left considering his future following the departure of Jose Mourinho from Stamford Bridge. Drogba was very close to Mourinho - who took him to Chelsea in 2004. Real Madrid, Milan and Bayern Munich are all said to have expressed an interest in the 29-year-old - who was the top-scorer in the Premier League last year.

Interest

"Drogba is a player who is very desirable and I have received calls from some European clubs about the situation," Etienne Mendy told the Daily Mirror. "The key question now is for Didi to work for Chelsea after the blow. "But he and the team must score many goals to recuperate their confidence."
