Incident to be reviewed at special appeals hearing
Uefa has revealed that they will review the two-match ban handed to AC Milan's Dida at a special appeals hearing on Monday.
The Brazilian keeper received the ban for feigning injury during the 2-1 UEFA Champions League defeat to Celtic.
He is set to miss Milan's forthcoming back-to-back group games against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Uefa has confirmed the receipt of Milan's appeal against the ban, and its independent appeals body will consider the case ahead of next week's Champions League action.
Meanwhile, Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has voiced his defence of the stopper's actions.
"Dida did not do anything. On the contrary, he was attacked," he said.
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has also backed Dida after the 34-year-old received criticism in Italy following some shaky displays.
"He can't be condemned for a mistake, it can happen to anyone," Berlusconi said.
"He played despite carrying a shoulder injury. I think in Glasgow it may have been best not for him to line-up."
