Portugal boss punished for 'assault'
Portugal coach Luis Felipe Scolari has been fined by the Portuguese Soccer Federation for lashing out at Serbia defender Ivica Dragutinovic.
Scolari has been hit by a 35,000 euros (£24,000) fine following the incident which occurred at the end of September's Euro 2008 qualifier between Portugal and Serbia.
The decision came after the Portuguese Soccer Federation successfully had Scolari's four game touchline ban reduced to three matches on appeal to Uefa after he apologised for the 'assault'.
Scolari has already been forced to miss Portugal's recent games with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and he will also be banned for the meeting with Armenia in November.
The Portugal boss has also been fined 20,000 Swiss francs (£8,350) by Uefa.
