Burnley coach set to depart Turf Moor
Championship side Burnley are set to lose Dave Kevan to struggling League Two outfit Notts County.
Burnley boss Steve Cotterill has revealed his assistant is to join new manager Ian McParland at Meadow Lane.
Cotterill said: "It's very sad, but McParland is Dave's best mate and his family are in Nottingham so that proved to be too big of a pull.
"It's also his old club as well. Notts County are going to get a good coach."
McParland, who took over at Meadow Lane as successor to Steve Thompson, saw his team lose 2-0 to Mansfield on Saturday in his first game in charge.
The result saw County drop to 20th place in League Two, with 11 points from 12 games, just two points above the drop zone.
