Former Yeovil man hungry for first-team action
Arron Davies could be set to make his Nottingham Forest debut this weekend after playing 76 minutes of a reserve game.Davies has been unable to play for Forest after sustaining an ankle injury in pre-season following his summer move from Yeovil.
But after getting back out on the pitch in a 3-2 reserves victory over Shrewsbury, he has now made himself available for selection in Saturday's game at Luton.
However, he is ready to let boss Colin Calderwood decide when he thinks the midfielder is ready for first-team action.
"I would hope I'll be pushing for a place in Calderwood's starting XI as soon as possible," he told the club's official website.
"I'd had a full week training before the Shrewsbury game and could perhaps do with another reserve game, but it's up to the manager.
"I've waited this long to be involved, so I'm not going to get upset if I have to be patient for another couple of weeks - it's just so good to be back."
