South Korean wants chance
Lee Dong-gook claims he is not being given sufficient chance to make an impact.
The South Korean striker joined Middlesbrough in January after impressing manager Gareth Southgate during a trial spell.
However, the 28-year-old has started just four league games and is yet to score a Premier League goal.
Lee is one of the most highly regarded players in his homeland, but he is yet to produce the sort of form which made him such a hero in Asia.
Pressure
"First of all, I have not had the chances and I have had too much pressure on me," said Lee.
"Firstly, I am very annoyed that the media evaluates me before the manager does.
"I will do my best to make sure the memory of me to Middlesbrough fans is one that I am a passionate player.
"This league is very tough and fast, much more than Korea. I find it very difficult to pass defenders and make a goal."
