Chelsea Ladies have completed a double swoop for goalkeeper Becky Spencer from Birmingham City and midfielder Jade Bailey from Arsenal.
Chelsea's acquisition of the duo follows hot on the heels of the signing of England international Karen Carney who officially joined the club this month.
Spencer, 24, began her career at Arsenal where she worked with Chelsea boss Emma Hayes, who previously served as assistant coach at the north London club.
She joins Chelsea after spending three years at Birmingham where she helped the Midlands club finish second in the FA Women's Super League and reach the UEFA Women's Champions League semi- final.
"This is an exciting move in my career and I can't wait to get going," she told Chelsea's official website.
"Chelsea won the League and FA Cup last season to establish themselves as the team to beat and the opportunity to be part of that journey was too good to turn down."
Tough-tackling England U23 international Bailey, 20, is a product of Arsenal's Centre of Excellence and can operate in both midfield and defence.
"I want to develop my game and the opportunity at Chelsea gives me the chance to do exactly that," she said.
"The set-up at Chelsea Ladies, the club, team and the staff are the ideal fit for me and I am looking forward to getting started."
Chelsea manager Hayes added: "Becky is here to compete with Hedvig Lindahl for the No.1 spot in this side. She has developed into a top goalkeeper and arrives with Champions League experience and a desire to reach the next level in her career.
"Jade is a player I have known about for some time and for someone who is 20 years of age she has fantastic experience, having started for Arsenal for the past two seasons.
"I want homegrown, English players who want to grow with us. Jade will learn around some top players how to take her game forward. But she is up for the challenge and she will compete for a spot in midfield, as well as offer another option in central defence."
