Blackburn boss in talks over rolling contract
Blackburn chairman John Williams has confirmed that Mark Hughes is in talks regarding a new contract.
Hughes' reputation as a manager has been enhanced since he took charge at Ewood Park in 2004.
The club are keen for Hughes to stay and it is understood that he is close to agreeing a new deal.
Reports suggest that both parties are keen to make the contract a rolling one, where Hughes would always be on a 12-month notice period.
Williams said: "We have had some discussions and will carry on with those to bring it to fruition."
Hughes is expected to put pen-to-paper on the contract before Blackburn's next match against Fulham after the international break.
