Sunderland midfielder heads out on loan
Sunderland youngster Billy Dennehy has linked up with Accrington Stanley on loan until January.
The midfielder has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Black Cats, having been signed by former manager Mick McCarthy.
He played for Accrington against Blackpool in the Lancashire Senior Cup in midweek and caught the eye of Stanley boss John Coleman.
Dennehy, who has previously played Gaelic Football for his home county, Kerry, has now secured a loan move to Accrington until the New Year.
Coleman could include Dennehy in his squad for Saturday's League Two encounter at Hereford United.
