Team news for Tuesday night's Sky Bet League 2 clash between Newport County and Oxford

Newport's top scorer Scott Boden could be recalled for the Sky Bet League Two clash with promotion-chasing Oxford.

Boden was surprisingly omitted at Stevenage on Saturday as County lost 2-1 for a sixth straight defeat - the club's worst run of league losses since 2005.

Ben Davies is likely to drop out after County boss Warren Feeney admitted he replaced the on-loan Preston defender before half-time at Stevenage because of his performance.

Andrew Hughes may be switched from central defence to left-back with Janoi Donacien drafted into the middle, although Matt Partridge is available and Scott Barrow faces a fitness test on a hamstring injury.

Oxford's injury problems continue to mount at just the wrong time with their automatic promotion challenge stalling.

Top scorer Kemar Roofe, the newly-crowned League Two player of the year, and John Lundstram are both nursing ankle problems following the home defeat to Luton and are rated at 50/50 to be fit for the trip to south Wales.

Wingers Alex MacDonald and Callum O'Dowda were both absent at the weekend with tonsillitis and are likely to remain out.

Second-placed Oxford, who have won just one of their last four league matches, are also without the injured Ryan Taylor, Joe Skarz and Sam Long, while Josh Ruffels (shin) is not 100 per cent fit despite being named on the bench on Saturday.
