Newport v Cambridge preview

Newport will be without the suspended Robbie Willmott for their Rodney Parade appointment with Cambridge in League Two.

And while Willmott sits out the action, third-placed Newport are also set to be missing Andrew Crofts, who continues his recovery from an Achilles problem.

Elsewhere, County manager Michael Flynn must run the rule over Keanu Marsh-Brown, who has missed the last two matches due to injury, and he will hope that Jamille Matt can shake off an ankle knock. Long-serving defender David Pipe, meanwhile, is set to be available after illness sidelined him from Newport's two most recent games.

Skipper Gary Deegan will be missing for Cambridge as they travel to south Wales. Deegan picked up a fifth booking of the season in last weekend's 1-1 draw against Mansfield, and is suspended for the County clash.

Cambridge manager Joe Dunne should have striker Jabo Ibehre available again after he sat out the Mansfield game. Newport, though, have lost just once at home in the league this season and will be looking to keep pace with current top two Lincoln and Exeter.
