Real president 'disgusted' by defeat to Bremen
Ramon Calderon is not planning to make any signings in the January transfer window despite Real Madrid's 3-2 defeat to Werder Bremen.
Real are still top of UEFA Champions League Group C but their defeat to Bremen has left them vulnerable.
They must now avoid defeat against Lazio in their final game to secure their place in the last 16.
Calderon insists Real will still be able to compete without strengthening their squad over the winter, although he admits he was disappointed by the result.
"We're sad and disgusted because it seemed logical that we would get a point. But we have to look ahead, I have blind confidence in this team," Calderon told Cadena SER radio.
"There will no recruitment during the winter break."
Real sporting director Predrag Mijatovic said last month that 'if nothing strange happens we don't need to recruit in January'.
