But who was the greatest midfielder of his generation - Lampard, Gerrard or Scholes?

And he says Everton will be glad to see the back of the Uruguayan
Liverpool sign Dejan Lovren for £20million
Carra is a long-time admirer of Liverpool's new centre-half
He says the fee is high, but could be worth it in the long term.
And he's concerend about what the St Mary's exodus could do to Southampton!
Steven Gerrard's international retirement
Carra says his old mate was right to call time on his career with England
He says it's good news for Liverpool, but not so good for Roy Hodgson
He explains that the England manager will find it hard to identify the next skipper
Although Wayne Rooney has a strong claim for the armband
Everton's Ross Barkley could be the man to take his midfield berth
And he recalls the famous FA Cup Final of 2006, when Gerrard was arguably at the peak of his powers...
