Bayern back on top after win at Arminia Bielefeld
Bayern Munich moved to the top of the Bundesliga on Sunday courtesy of a 1-0 win at Arminia Bielefeld.
Influential and in-form French schemer Franck Ribery netted the winner to move Bayern back above Werder Bremen, who had gone top 24 hours earlier with a 2-1 win over Hamburg.
Luca Toni was the architect of Bayern's goal as his pass played in Ribery, who outpaced two Bielefeld defenders, before rounding goalkeeper Mathias Hain and slotting home.
Ribery's goal was the fourth of an impressive campaign for the Bundesliga's record signing.
Sunday's other game saw struggling Duisburg edge out Nurnberg 1-0 thanks to Ivica Grlic's goal 18 minutes from time.
The win moves Duisburg off the foot of the table.
